A small break

On a 2 week deployment, the Red Cross gives a day off to take care of things like laundry.  Last night I was assigned today, so I decided to sleep in.

Now I am training for 2 new "GAP"s (the "jobs" one can be assigned in a disaster).  I ran into a Red Cross employee being re-deployed to the Caralinas and she informed me of 2 under-filled GAPs that would take a few hours to train for.  While I am waiting for my laundry to finish, I am training.  I know I won't be released from my current assignment until after tomorrow (got to cover for the other half of my teems' day off), but maybe I could take a Monday/Tuesday flight.

I did get a quick dip in the pool before bed last night, may have time after training for another one.  I also need to catch up on my expense receipts, and clean up from my shelter-in-place prep.  PB&J for Breakfast/Lunch today.

About dinner time, my youngest brother will be dropping by.  Haven't seen him since May, so really looking forward to the visit.

Anyway, back to studying!
