Orientation

I woke at 06:30, still really groggy, but I wanted to make sure and have breakfast before the morning meeting.

After breakfast, one of the other DST volunteers ran into me and told me that there was not going to be a 08:00 meeting, but I should find [Volunteer] and give her my contact info.  I found out that she was the person I was reporting to.

I went to the 2nd of 3 hotels in the plaza I was staying at for the 08:30 Orientation meeting.  I checked in with staffing and introduced myself to the other DST volunteers.  I also verified that [Volunteer ?] made it safely to the hotel last night.

During the meeting, I found out that I had incorrectly used the toll pass.  Apparently there is a switch on it that you need to turn "on" before reaching the toll road.  So, I hadn't even been in Florida for 4 hours and had already goofed up.  *sigh*, oh well.

Upon further research, Florida has a "Toll by plate" system, so the rental company should get an invoice for the toll plus $2.50 and pass that on to the Red Cross, so I shouldn't be liable for a ticket.  *few*!
