There isn't much to mention about the second night at the shelter. The families with children were re-located to a different shelter and the people who remained mostly just slept-in or left for their jobs. I spent most of the night conversing with my fellow responders, or working on a software project for work.
I am not sure when/if I will be covering any more shifts in this DRO. My next free night is New Years Eve, but I am getting close to burning out. If the shelter is still open next weekend I will perhaps volunteer for Friday and/or Saturday overnights.
