IEEE Command Center Tour

While HQ is deciding on how to restructure the DRO due to Dorian moving further north, I was invited to tour the IEEE Command Center that was deployed to HQ.

It was really cool to see a vehicle that was basically a bigger version of what I am trying to build with my RV.  One major difference was that the Command Center had a satellite up-link and I am not planning on making that investment.

Other minor differences included that the Command Center was set up to be on a completely different electrical system to the cabin.  It also had a relatively small AGM battery set-up which made many of the systems heavily reliant on the generator.

There was also no living space yet.  No beds, no bathroom, no kitchen.

Still was really cool!
